Claudia Kennedy retired as a Lieutenant General in the U.S. Army, the first and only woman to achieve the rank of three-star general. She was Deputy Chief of Staff for Army Intelligence where she oversaw policies and operations affecting 45,000 people stationed world wide with a budget of nearly $1 billion. She has received many honors and awards including the National Intelligence Distinguished Service Medal and the Army Distinguished Service Medal, as well as being named to the list of "Best Women Role Models."
