Women's Week 2003 - No! Addressing Rape and Sexual Assault in the African American Community

Aishah Shahidah Simmons is an award-winning, independent, feminist filmmaker and the founder and president of the multimedia arts company AfroLez Productions. She will show her film "NO!" which explores the issues of race, gender, homophobia, rape, and misogyny from a Black feminist lesbian perspective. A discussion with the audience will follow.
