Steven Berman currently serves as the Associate Director of Strategic Business Alliances & Convergence Technologies Development for the University of California's Systemwide Digital Media Innovation Program; and as Chairman and CEO of Berman & Company, a diversified consulting firm providing services in the areas of entertainment, wireless, digital media, consumer products, e-commerce, education, biotechnology and other technology sectors. He serves as a faculty member in the newly established Media, Arts & Technology Program (MAT), a graduate degree program offered by the University of California at Santa Barbara. Through June 1999, Berman held the post of Director, Business Development for Business Research Partnerships at UCLA. He holds a B.S. High Honors (Tau Beta Pi) in Materials/Ceramic Engineering from Rutgers College of Engineering and a law degree from Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He currently serves as a Member, Board of Editors for the Cyberspace Lawyer, Founder and Chair of the New Media Content, Technology and Production Council.
