Former president of the University of Iowa Willard L. Boyd is now president of the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. he holds a doctorate of law, has had a long and distinguished career as a professor of law, and has served on the boards of numerous national commissions and committees including the national Council on the Arts, National Endowment for the Arts, and the metropolitan Opera Association.
