Democracy, Rural Poverty and the Land

Robert Waller was dean of the college of Business and is currently professor of management at the University of Northern Iowa. He has an extensive list of publications and is the author of Making Sense of Complexity: Structural Modeling for Decisions, Policy, and Living. His series of essays published in the Des Moines Register, "Going Soft Upon the Land and Down Along the Rivers" was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. A collection of essays will be published later this year.
