The Role of Technical Education in Rural Areas
The Panel will explore the contribution technical education can make in rural areas of developing nations.
1. Leonard Eggleton is a professor and extension specialist in poultry marketing at ISU. In 1965 and 1967 he was a consultant for an AID project in Uruguay.
2. Gerald Parks is an associate professor of industrial education at ISU. he was a consultant with the Ford Foundation on a technical education project in Nigeria.
3. Richard Squires is professor of industrial engineering at ISU. His international teaching and administrative experience includes work at the Imperial college of Engineering in Ethiopia and consulting work in Egypt, Tunisia, and Haiti. In June of 1975 he visited the People's Republic of China.
4. Mark Lund is a grad student majoring in economics.
