Ariel Dorfman is a novelist exiled from his Chilean homeland. His articles have appeared in the Village Voice, the Nation, and the New York Times and he teaches at the Center for International Studies at Duke University. His books include The Last Song of Manuel Sendero, Windows, and The Empire's New Clothes.
