Lecture Series on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development: Biomedical Literacy and the Politics of Biotechnology


Jon Miller is a professor at the School of Medicine and the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. He is also the Vice President and Director of the International Center for the Advancement of Scientific Literacy at the Chicago Academy of Sciences, and author of seven books including Biomedical Communications, Citizenship in an Age of Science, and The American people and Science Policy: The Role of Public Attitudes in the Policy Process.
