Dr. Barreca is editor of The Penguin Book of Womens Humor, and the author of numerous books including Sweet Revenge: The Wicked Delights of Getting Even, Fay Weldons Wicked Fictions, Perfect Husbands (and Other Fairy Tales), They Used to Call Me Snow White, But I Drifted, and Too Much of a Good Thing Is Wonderful. She is a professor of English Literature and Feminist Theory at the University of Connecticut at Storrs, and writes a monthly column for "The Chicago Tribune," a weekly column for "The Hartford Courant." She received her B.A. from Dartmouth College, an M.A. from Cambridge University, where she was a Reynolds Fellow, and a Ph.D. from the City University of New York.
