Jan Narveson is professor of philosophy at the University of Warterloo in Ontario, Canada, and his books inclue Morality and Utility, The Libertarian Idea, and Moral Matters. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and sits on the Joint Committee on Health and Safety.
Larry Temkin is professor of philosophy at Rice University and director of the Rice University Lecture Series on Ethics, Politics, and Society. His publications include many journal articles and the book Inequality. Part of the World Affairs Series: Why Should America Care?
