Walter Reid is the Vice President for Program at World Resources Institute in Washington, D.C. He is also the co-author of several reports and books, including "Biodiversity Prospecting: Using Genetic Resources for Sustainable Development," and Global Biodiversity Strategy. He has a doctorate in zoology from the University of Washington and was a Gilbert White Fellow with Resources for the Future in Washington, D.C. Part of the World Affairs Series
