Michael Gartner is editor and co-owner of The Daily Tribune and a columnist for USA Today. He was president of NBC News, page one editor of The Wall Street Journal, and editor and resident of The Des Moines Register.

Marilyn Berlin Snell is executive editor of Utne Reader, a monthly magazine featuring the best of the alternative media. She was senior editor of New Perspectives Quarterly, a journal of social and political thought.

Dennis Ryerson is editor of the Des Moines Register where he was editorial page editor. He was news editor for the Schottsbluff Star-Herald, editorial page editor of the Vancouver Columbian chief editorial writer and director of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, managing editor/news at the Denver Post, and executive editor of the Great Falls Tribune.
