Terry S. Reynolds is the President of the Society for the History of Technology and chair of the Department of Social Sciences at Michigan Technological University. He is the author of several books including Stronger than a Hundred Men: a History of the Vertical Water Wheel; The engineer in America: a Historical Anthology; and 75 Years of Progress: A History of th American Insitute of Chemical Engineers, 1908-1983.
