Vance D. Coffman has served as Chairman of the Board of Lockheed Martin Corporation since 1998, and until 2004 he also served as CEO. In addition to Lockheed Martin, Coffman serves on the board of 3M, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, and Deere & Company. Coffman joined Lockheed Martin in 1967 and has since held several executive positions within the Space Systems Division, including Vice President, Division Vice President and Assistant General Manager, and President. Coffman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University and Masters and Doctoral degrees in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University.

Robert J. Stevens is President and Chief Operating Officer of Lockheed Martin and is a member of the corporation's board of directors. He also currently serves on President Bush's Commission to examine the Future of the United States Aerospace Industry. At Lockheed, Stevens has served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of the Strategic Development organization, President and Chief Operating Officer of the Lockheed Martin Energy and Environment Sector, and President of Lockheed Martin Air Traffic Management. He is a graduate of the Department of Defense Systems Management College Program Management course and has served in the United States Marine Corps.
