William Lord holds the Palmer Chair in electrical and computer engineering and is associate director of the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation and the Institute for Physical Research and Technology at Iowa State University. His research has led to commercial products: a PC-based edddy current inspection system and an acoustic microscope. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, the American Society for Nondestructive Testing and the British Society of Nondestructive Testing.
