Sex, Power and the Media

Ann Simonton is an activist and founder of Media Watch, an organization which investigates sexism in advertising an its connection to violence against women. She is a former beauty queen and top model who now protests the content of many of the magazines in which she appeared, including the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated.
