Ccarolyn C. Porco is leader of the Imaging Team for the Cassini mission to Saturn, a professor of Planetary Sciences at the University of Arizona, and a visiting associate at the California Institute of Technology. She was a member of the Voyager Imaging Team, leading the Rings Working Group during the Voyager's encounters with Neptune. She was an advisor on the movie Contact starring Jodie foster, and recently participated in a series of panel discussions a the American Film Institute in Hollywood entitled, Portraying Real Science and Technology in the Movies.
