Norman P. Neureiter is the Director of the AAAS's (American Association for the Advancement of Science AAAS) Center for Science, Technology and Security Policy. Formerly he was the Science and Technology Policy Advisor to Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and Colin L. Powell. He has extensive experience in private industry and government including serving as Vice President of Texas Instrument Asia, International Affairs Assistant in the White House Office of Science and Technology, and as the first U.S. Science Attache in Eastern Europe. He has a doctorate in organic chemistry from Northwestern University.
