Nmonde ngubo is a special representative from South Africa to the United Mine Workers of America and spokesperson for the South African Mineworkers Union which has been a key anti-apartheid voice in the US. She was research fellow at the Institute for policy studies and conducted research on the oral history of woman's participation in the liberation movement in South Africa.
