Helen Gunderson, a 1967 graduate of Iowa State University, is an author, urban farmer, and community builder. Born in 1945 in Black Hawk County, Iowa, she has an interst in agriculture and an appreciation for rural life. Daniel Hartwig, head of ISU Special Collections and University Archives, will moderate a conversation between Gunderson and Dr. Cornelia Butler Flora, Distinguished Professor of Sociology Emerita at ISU.
