Diane Dillon Ridgely is board president of Zero Population Growth, the nation's largest grassroots organization concerned with the impacts of rapid growth. She was appointed by President Clinton to his Council on Sustainable Development where she serves as co-chair of the Population and Consumption Task force. She served as delegate and consultant at the United Nations conferences in Rio, Beijing and Istanbul.
