If you haven't read PopCult in America and/or Mass Culture Revisited before listening to David Manning White, you may be making a mad dash to the bookstore after his appearance. Those are the titles of Mr. White's most recent books. As lead-off speaker for the week, Mr. White brings his unique analysis of popular culture to the campus. Mr. White was the former chairman of the Department of Journalism at Boston University and now holds a journalism professorship there.
