Lola Alcaraz, is a cartoonist, satirist and writer who captures the essence of the country's changing cultural and political landscape. He is syndicated by Universal Press Syndicate and has produced editorial cartoons for the LA Weekly since 1992. His cartoons have also appeared in the New York Times, The Village Voice, the Los Angeles Times, among others. His latest film project is in development with Selena producer Gregory Nava, and his latest book is Latino USA: A Cartoon History. He was a staff writer on Fox TV's Culture Clash. He has an undergraduate degree in Art and Environmental Design, and a master's in architecture from University of California, Berkeley.
