Francis Degnin is a Philosopher and Clinical Bioethicist at the University of Northern Iowa. He has published a half dozen articles in philosophy and medical ethics, conducts educational seminars for physicians, nurses, social workers, and other care givers, and has taken part in over 200 clinical case consultations. He serves on the Ethics Committee of two local hospitals, the Institutional Review Board for the University, and he chairs the Ethics Planning Committee for the Northeast Iowa Ethics Conference.
