Maimul Khan is visiting professor at the University of Illinois College of Law and has written extensively on Islam, human rights, and the politics of the Afghan region. He was chair of the department of law at the University of Dhaka. He has a doctorate in law from Tashkent State University in Bangladesh, and was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Illinois College of Law where he now teaches.
