Barry Lynn is executive director of American United for Separation of Church and State. In addition to his work as an activist and lawyer, he is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. He is a frequent First Amendment commentator on television and radio including the Today Show, the O'Reilly Factor, Nightline, 60 Minutes, Hannity & Colmes, Good Morning America, and Larry King Live. He was a regular co-host of "Pat Buchanan and Company" and Col. Oliver North's "Review of the News," and has written for the LA Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. He is the co-author of The Right to Religious Liberty: The Basic ACLU Guide to Religious Rights. He earned his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and his theology degree from Boston University School of Theology.
