Valerie Hyman is a senior reporter with WSMV-TV in Nashville where she produced her award-winning series on child sexual abuse. She received her M.S. in Telecommunications News and Public Affairs from Indiana University and worked as a public television producer and assistant news director before accepting her current assignment.
