C. K. Raju heads the Center for Computer Science at the National University of Journalism in Bhopal. He played a lead role in the initial team at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, which built Param, India's first parallel supercomputer. He has been a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, National Institute of Science, Technology & Development Studies, and the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. He is an Editorial Fellow of the Project of History of Indian Science, Philosophy and Culture, at the Centre for Studies in Civilizations, New Delhi, and holds a doctorate from the Indian Statistical Institute.
