Gina Ochsner is the recipient of the William Faulkner Award, Raymond Carver Award, and most recently, the Flannery O'Connor Award for short fiction, for her collection of short stories, the necessary grace to fall. She is now at work on a fictionalized encyclopedia dictionary of Romanian myths and culture, another collection of short stories, and a novel.
