Ryan Lizza is The New Yorker magazine's Washington correspondent and a CNN contributor. He joined The New Yorker after working at The New Republic, where he was a political correspondent from 1998 to 2007, covering the White House and Presidential politics. Sasha Issenberg is a political journalist for Slate.com and author of The Victory Lab: The Secret Science of Winning Campaigns. He covered the 2008 presidential campaign for the Boston Globe as a national political reporter.
