James Autry will discuss his new book Servant Leader: A Practical Guide to Implementing the Principals. He is the author of five books and a leading authority on leadership thinking. His book, Love and Profit: The Art of Caring Leadership,won the Johnson, Smith & Knisely Award, and was featured on Bill Moyers' special series, "The Power of the Word," on PBS. Before taking early retirement in 1991 to pursue his present career, Autry was senior vice president and president of Meredith Corporation's Magazine Group, the publisher of "Better Homes and Gardens", a $500 billion operation with over 900 employees.
