Jennifer L. Gunn is Assistant Professor in the University of Minnesota History of Medicine Program. Her publications include "A Few Good Men: The Rockefellers and Population Studies," in Theresa Richardson and Donald Fisher, eds. The Development of the Social Sciences in the US and Canada: The Role of Philanthropy,and "Factory Work for Doctors," in Transactions and Studies of the Collge of Physicians of Philadelphia, and she is at work on a book on the history of rural medical practice in twentieth-century America. She received her masters and doctorate in History and the Sociology of Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
