Dr. mead holds twenty honorary doctorates and mounds of honors and awards. She has written 24 books and either co-authored or co-edited another 18. She is Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University and visiting Professor of Anthropology in the Department of Psychiatry, College of Medicine, University of Cincinnati.
