Giving in an Entrepreneurial Culture

Arthur C. Brooks is a professor of public administration and the director of the Nonprofit Studies Program at Syracuse University's Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. He is the author of Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth about Compassionate Conservatism and numerous other books and articles on topics relating to the connections between culture, politics, and entrepreneurship in America. Brooks is also a consultant to the Rand Corporation and in 2007 will be a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute.
