The Last Pony Mine: Produced in 1971 by the ISU Film Production Unit, directed by Richard Kraemer. It depcits the last days of Iowa coal Mine and the lives of its dependents.

The River: Sponsored by the Farm Security Administration, directed by Pare Lorentz. It argues for flood control on the rampaging Mississippi River.
