Film: The Learning Tree

The story is set in a small midwestern town during the 1920's where a young black boy learns about the beauty of nature, about fear, sex, death and love. He also learns about honor and integrity when, all alone with his conscience, he has to decide to save a white man's life at the sacrifice of a black man's life.
