A Scotsman, Alistair macduff did not become aware of Eskimo art until the late 1950's and early 1960's. Alma Houston, an authority on the Eskimo people, convinced macduff to move to Canada to work with her and the Innuit people. Macduff has assembled a number of Eskimo exhibits and has priced and evaluated sculpture for this market worldwide.
