Dr. Mazrui is Director of the Center for Afro-American and African Studies at the University of Michigan. originally from Kenya, he is internationally renowned of this research on African politics, comparative and international political culture, political deviancy and dependency. he has held offices with the African Studies Association and is currently vice-president of both the International Congress of African Studies and the Royal african Society, London. Dr. Mazrui is affiliated with the United Nations, UNESCO, and the World Order Models Project.
