Detainees in Baghdad

Maxine Nash is a member of a Christian Peacemaking Team in Baghdad where she is working with detainees to ensure their rights as prisoners of war. Her work has focused on the detainees held previously by the Coalition Provisional Authority and now by the U.S. Military. She has also worked with the Christian Peacemaking Team in Palestine, and was director of World Ministries for Friends United Meeting, a Quaker church organization headquartered in Richmond, Indiana. Maxine is a native of Waukon, Iowa.
