This book looks at how Korean adoptees "dance," or engage, with their various identities - white, Korean, Korean adoptee, and those in between and beyond - and begin the journey toward self-discovery and empowerment. John D. Palmer is an Associate Professor of Educational Studies at Colgate University, who grew up in Iowa. His specialties include racial and ethnic identity development, social and cultural foundations of education; social justice education, anti-racist curriculum and pedagogy, Korean globalization, and race and education.
