Charlie King has been singing about progressive causes for the past 35 years and writes a column for the International Musician . He was awarded the Sacco and Vanzetti Award for Social Justice by Pete Seger in 1999. Karen Bradow spent eight years living in Guatemala, working with the labor, campesino and women's movements. She is the author of the book The Sky Never Changes, about the Guatemala labor movement.
