Challenges of International Terrorism

Alexander von Schmeling has had extensive diplomatic and foreign service experience for the Federal Republic of Germany. Presently, he serves as the Counselor for Legal Affairs and Consul General. He entered the foreign service in 1955 after studying law. He has served in various country locations including Portugal, India, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Malaysia.
