Canoes, Romance, and Horses: The Journey of Three ISU Students to Best-Selling Authors

Trent Preszler, Denise Willaims, and Carrie Seim are all ISU grads and former Honors students. They have each written best-selling books in the past couple of years. Trent’s is a memoir called Little and Often, and it details his journey dealing with his father’s death after a long estrangement. Carrie has written two books aimed at kids; her most recent is Horse Girl. Denise’s debut novel is entitled How to Fail at Flirting.
