[b]Heather Derr-Smith[/b] is the author of four books of poetry, including [i]The Bride Minaret, Tongue Screw,[/i] and [i]Thrust,[/i] which was published in 2017 and awarded the Lexi Rudnitsky Editors’ Prize. She’s a graduate of the University of Virginia and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. [b]Charissa Menefee[/b] is a poet, playwright, director, and performer. She is on the faculty of the MFA Program in Creative Writing & Environment at Iowa State University, where she teaches scriptwriting, dramatic literature, and performance studies. [b]Part of the Pearl Hogrefe Visiting Writers Series[/b]
