David Wallis is the author of Killed: Great Journalism Too Hot To Print. He is also the founder and editorial director of Featurewell.com, a syndicate that markets articles by more than 1000 independent journalists including Jimmy Breslin, Robert Reich and Andrei Codrescu. An outspoken advocate for writers, Wallis has lectured at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, New York University and The New School and appeared on CNN, Fox News and Book TV. Wallis, himself a journalist, has contributed to The New Yorker, Wired, Esquire London's Observer, The Washington Post, and The New York Times Magazine, among other publications.
