James D. Bratt is Professor of History and Director of the Calvin Center for Christian Scholarship at Calvin College.
His books include: Against Revivalism: Writings by Its Religious Despisers; Abraham Kuyper: A Centennial Reader; Gathered at the River: Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Its People of Faith; and Dutch Calvinism in Modern America: A History of a Conservative Subculture. He has a doctorate in history from Yale University, and an undergraduate degree from Calvin College, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
