James Autry is author of the management primer Love and Profit: The Art of Caring Leadership. He was president of the Meredith corporation magazine Group where he oversaw the publication of a wide variety of magazines including Better Homes and Gardens. His other books include Nights Under a Tin Roof...Recollections of a southern Boyhood and Life after Mississippi.
