What impact will the destruction of the World Trade Towers have on architecture, engineering, and related design fields? Should the towers be rebuilt or replaced with memorials? These and other questions will be discussed by:Mark Stankard, assistant professor of architecture, teaches the history of architecture and was a finalist in the Oklahoma City Memorial competition; Mira Engler, associate professor of landscape architecture, has written about memorials and researches landscapes of waste and dereliction; Robert Abendroth, associate professor in civil and construction engineering, teaches building design and structural steel design courses; Jim Bolluyt, assistant professor in civil and construction engineering, will moderate.
