Professor Danielle Wood, an MIT faculty member with joint appointments in Media Arts & Sciences and Aeronautics & Astronautics, leads pioneering work at the Space Enabled Research Group to harness space technology for sustainability and justice on Earth. Drawing on a rich background that spans NASA, the United Nations, and multiple engineering disciplines, she brings a visionary approach to advancing equity in space access and environmental stewardship. Professor Wood's lecture will reflect her global leadership in space policy and her commitment to interdisciplinary innovation.
