Donald Crone is Associate Professor of International Relations at James Madison College, Michigan State University. He is author of The Asian States: Coping with Dependence and Politics and Social Justice in Southeast Asia and has conducted field research in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. He is affiliated with the Asian Studies Center, the Center for the Advanced Study of International Development, the Office of Women in International Development, and the Center for South and Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Michigan.
